A leading Islamic Bank in the Sultanate of Oman offered an entire portfolio of commercial banking services. The Bank operated a legacy Transaction Banking system covering Islamic Trade, payments & corporate internet banking. However, it was inefficient and failed to meet customer and internal stakeholder expectations.

The Bank sought a modern Transaction Banking platform capable of handling over 1,000 predefined processes, offering customizable Islamic finance & Supply Chain Finance, Cash and liquidity payment modules as well as comprehensive Omni Channel including host to host for digital customer experience, and embedding strong automated risk governance to meet evolving customer expectations.

Our Approach

Backed by over 100 years of combined experience, our Senior Consultants designed a comprehensive transformation roadmap. This included governance setup, risk oversight, and regular CXO-level reporting across 20+ business units.

This complex program involved establishing various regular governance forums, in depth risk monitoring, strategic Management reporting and meticulous planning, ensuring the successful deployment of the new transaction banking solution.

Regular progress updates were communicated to key CXOs, maintaining transparency and strategic alignment between Management and Working Group across various business units.
